Ginkgo is a plant that grows mainly in southern China, South Korea and Japan. There are now a few production areas in Europe. Ginkgo is known to promote blood circulation and improve memory. Our sourcing probably represents the best quality available in the world. Our supplier has a technology called Phytosome® which maximizes the absorption of molecules of interest (ginkgoflavoglycosides and terpene lactones). The dose of active ingredients used can thus be greatly reduced while allowing maximum efficiency to be obtained. Phytosome® is a registered trademark of INDENA S.P.A Italy, so our supplier is Italian.

We have chosen “the rolls” of omega 3: EPAX®. EPAX® is a Norwegian supplier committed to the Friend of the Sea ® approach (eco-responsible fishing, controlled areas, management of fish resources). Oil from small wild fish (mainly sardines) from cold seas (important detail). You won’t find purer anywhere else (without heavy metals). The nutritional quality of a source of Omega 3 is defined through an EPA, DHA and triglyceride content (90% for this source). EPAX® is a registered trademark of EPAX® Norway AS.

Evening primrose is a plant that we come across more and more in our French countryside. Its oil, golden, offers many benefits, especially for women (skin & hormonal balance). Our product is highly dosed and contains 99% evening primrose oil. Vitamin E (1%) preserves the quality of the oil by limiting its oxidation. It also has the effect of protecting cells against oxidative stress. We use premium quality evening primrose oil from first cold pressing, produced in Spain (pharma grade oil, meeting GMP/GMP standards).

Astaxanthin is a pigment from the beta-carotene family derived from a freshwater algae, Haematococcus pluvialis. It is she who is at the origin of the pink color of shellfish, salmon and pink flamingos. Too little used to have claims, it would be one of the most powerful antioxidants in the world (> 60 times more powerful than vitamin C). It is often used to prepare sensitive skin for sun exposure (1, 2), limit age spots (3) and also to improve visual function (4). Our astaxanthin comes from Sweden!

No need to present the grape in detail, even less to the French. The grains and the skin that make up this fruit are rich in tannins, active members of the polyphenol family. The latter have very widely known and documented antioxidant properties. Our French grape extract is titrated at 95% in polyphenols, therefore 60% in OPCs (oligomeric proanthocyanidins). OPCs help strengthen the entire vascular system (hypertension, inflammation) (1). They easily bind to the collagen that makes up our skin and thus limits its destruction. The skin thus becomes more resistant and more elastic (2). Our extract is of course French!

Bacopa is a recognized plant of the Indian pharmacopoeia (Ayurveda). It has been used in India for more than 3000 years to regulate cognitive functions, intellectual and nervous disorders. Our extract is titrated to 25% bacosides. It is difficult to source a quality Bacopa since the plant is susceptible to diseases and is often the subject of chemical treatments. Purchasing through well-controlled channels is essential. We associate it with Ginkgo biloba to reinforce the benefits on memory.

Group B Vitamins (8 different) cover many functions, often related to energy, nervous or reproductive metabolism (B9). Our vitamin B complex contains the 8 vitamins, in active and natural form, as if you were consuming a vegetable rich in vitamins. Quinoa seeds are germinated and then dried. Thanks to germination, the content of B vitamins is 100 times higher, compared to the consumption of a whole quinoa seed cooked in the normal way. Complicated to find more concentrated in natural vitamin B. This vitamin complex is produced in Austria.

The acacia produces, through its sap, a resin which, once dry, takes on the appearance of an amber stone. This dried resin, called gum arabic, is made up of a large proportion of fibres. It is for this reason that the ingredient is commonly called “acacia fiber”. This dietary fiber is totally natural, it is extremely soluble and digestible, unlike the fibers that make up wood.
Acacia fiber has capacities to regulate transit and prebiotic properties (which promote the development of good bacteria in the digestive tract.
We frequently use this ingredient but we do not claim its properties for our products. Indeed, we use it at very low doses (a few tens of milligrams per capsule), to ensure optimal filling of the capsules (flow during filling and sometimes occupy the space that remains in the capsules). Our supplier claims, for this organic ingredient, a neutral carbon footprint and guarantees the support of the local populations who take this sap from the acacia trees.

Zinc is a trace element that plays an important role in a large number of functions: immunity, fertility, vision, quality of the skin, nails, hair, …. You should know that zinc does not exist naturally in a pure form. It is difficult to isolate from the foods in which it is found in relatively large quantities, which makes it difficult to use natural forms in food supplements. If you want to consume a natural source, regularly abuse oysters. Otherwise, it is found on the market in the form of oxide or sulphates, two forms with very low bioavailability. The bisglycinate form (zinc bound to an amino acid: glycine) is much better absorbed by the body. It is this form that we prefer.

Selenium plays an essential role for immunity, the nervous and muscular system as well as to guarantee a good functioning of the thyroid. It is nevertheless an element to never overdose too much (maximum 300 µg)! In natural form, you will find it in large quantities in Brazil nuts. In food supplements, like us, favor preparations based on selenomethionine (selenium associated with an amino acid: methionine, from biofermentation) since the body will absorb 90% of the selenium contained in your products. Avoid products containing selenite or sodium selenate if possible.

Vitamin C plays a role in a large number of body functions and promotes general tone. It is one of the most important vitamins for health: immunity, assimilation of iron (constituent of hemoglobin which ensures the transport of oxygen in your blood), antioxidant… . Choose the L-ascorbic form like us, they are equivalent to those you will find in fruits such as oranges or lemons. Why not acerola in our products? Quite simply because acerola-based products are not concentrated enough to be combined with other ingredients.
