WHY HAVE WE CHOSEN NATURAL AND NOT ORGANIC PRODUCTS?

Posted in 12/10/2022

At Santerra, we have made the choice to prioritize efficiency. “The Organic” unfortunately does not allow us to offer it to you for the following reasons.

THE REASONS

  • It limits the choice among the plants or ingredients available to design complete and effective formulas. Many plants do not exist organically.
  • The use of wild plants or fish among the ingredients is not considered organic. A farmed fish fed with organic food is organic, a wild fish caught with all the constraints of respecting the marine resource is not considered organic.
  • All those who produce quality products do not necessarily have the desire to work organically, even if their production method goes beyond the constraints imposed by the specifications BioA farmed fish fed with organic food is Organic, a wild fish caught with all the constraints of respecting marine resources is not considered organic.
  • We easily find very good so-called conventional products in Europe which offer much better quality than organic products produced on the other side of the world.
  • The concentration and purification stages of the products sometimes cause them to lose the organic designation. Organic is good for plant powders, not dosed with active ingredients. To get results with herbal powders, you are going to need to consume 10 capsules versus 1 with a titrated extract. Imagine consuming 40 capsules a day twice instead of 4 for concentrated products. You will not consume the 40 capsules, you will not have the expected benefits for the plant consumed.
  • Non-organic does not mean with pesticides, heavy metals and GMOs: our suppliers control all the parameters that allow them to guarantee that their products are free of heavy metals, GMOs, pesticide residues, … and that’s much more for us. reassuring than receiving an organic certificate for a product. Many impose constraints much higher than those defined by European regulations.
